ORLANDO, FL, June 17, 2009 – Vivitek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of environmentally innovative visual display and presentation products, launches the D925TX and D930TX short-throw digital projectors. Ideal for smaller spaces with big presentation needs, the D925TX and D930TX create viable presentation solutions by removing cumbersome throw distance needs.

The Vivitek D925TX and D930TX allow users to project larger images from shorter distances. From a distance of about four (4) feet, this short throw projector can cast a 100-inch* (diagonal) picture. The D930TX features a brightness of 3000 lumens and the D925TX has 2500 lumens of brightness. Both the D925TX and D930TX projectors have a contrast ratio of 2400:1, native XGA (1024x768) resolution and a DLP® chipset from Texas Instruments that delivers stunning picture quality that does not fade or degrade over time.

The Vivitek D925TX and D930TX feature multiple connectivity options, including HDMI and RJ45 for the highest video quality, full compatibility with today's video sources and network control over the networking area via LAN connection. Additional connections include an RS-232c communication port. At 7.7 pounds, both the D925TX and D930TX are compact in size and quiet in use at only 26dB (D925TX in ECO mode) and 34dB (D930TX in ECO mode). It also has a convenient top-loading, sliding cover for quick and easy lamp replacement.


The Vivitek D925TX and D930TX are designed to be filter– and dust–free, enabling cool and efficient operation, which eliminates the need to replace or discard filters. This fabrication keeps the projectors running at top energy efficient levels. The projectors also feature Keystone correction for precise picture adjustment. Both come with its own carrying case for easy transport, and a fully-featured IR remote with laser pointer and mouse functions.

Availability/Warranty
The Vivitek D925TX and D930TX are now available through authorized Vivitek dealers and distributors. The D925TX has a street price of $1,299 and the D930TX has a street price of $1,499. These projectors carry a three (3)-year limited warranty on parts and labor and a 90-day lamp warranty.
