ORLANDO, FL, June 17, 2009 – Vivitek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of environmentally innovative visual display and presentation products, today introduced the new D835 and D837, two projectors ideal for educational and corporate institutions that include network controls and are budget friendly.

Both the Vivitek D835 and D837 projectors offer native XGA (1024x768) resolution, 3200 lumens of brightness and a 2500:1 contrast ratio. These projectors support both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios and have onboard 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down technologies, eliminating jagged edges. The D837 comes with HDMI, RJ45 and RS-232c for full networking control, easy integration and system administration. Both D835 and D837 come with a built-in 12V trigger that can be used with an electric screen or an external wireless module connection for smooth wireless data transmissio.

The Vivitek D835 and D837 use Texas Instruments' DLP® chipset and BrilliantColor™ technologies to ensure bright and vivid colors on the projected image. Both projectors include features such as enhanced wall color adjustment, seven-color adjustment and pre-set enhanced display modes. With these functions, the projectors are able to match images to the various surfaces and adjust hue/saturation/gain enabling instant and bright presentations in environments not equipped with screens.

With a built-in presentation timer and keypad locks, the D835 and D837 are able to assist in managing presentations and prevent accidental system adjustments. Both projectors weigh in at only 5.7 pounds. And, for safe and convenient transport, the projectors come with carrying cases and protective lens caps.

The D835 and D837 projectors are designed to be filter- and dust-free, enabling cool and efficient operation, eliminating the need to replace or discard filters. The projectors are cost-effective, offering up to 4,000 hours of lamp life in ECO-mode. This also keeps the projector running at tope energy efficient levels.

Pricing/Availability/Warranty
The Vivitek D835 and D837 will be available in July 2009 from authorized Vivitek resellers and dealers. The D835 has an MSRP of $899 and the D837 has an MSRP of $999. Both projectors carry a three (3)-year parts and labor warranty and a 90-day lamp warranty.
